You are not buying an hour. You are buying room on the trailer.
Every quote in this trade is really one question: how much of the trailer will your pile take up. So that is what we price, and that is what is printed below. A fifteen yard dump trailer, marked in fifths, loaded by two people. The price includes the labour, the drive and the dump fee. There is no fuel surcharge and no minimum call-out on top.
A single item, or a corner of the garage
One mattress and box spring. One sofa. A dryer. The stack of boxes that has been by the side door since the move.
A bedroom, cleared
Bed, dresser, nightstands, a television, and eight or ten bags. Or a shed emptied down to the floor.
A garage, or a small deck
A two-car garage taken back to concrete. A ten by twelve deck pulled up, boards and framing, if it is not attached to the house.
A basement, or a full estate room
Thirty years of a basement. The heavy end of a clean-out, where most of the day is carrying rather than driving.
The trailer is full and the axle says stop
A whole house, or a rental turned over after a bad tenancy. Anything past this is a second trailer at the same ladder, not a bigger number invented on the spot.

Photographed from one fixed position so the pair is honest. These two slots stay empty until the real shots exist, because a stock photograph of somebody else’s garage would prove nothing.

Refusals
What we will not put on the trailer
Printed here rather than discovered on your driveway, because the second-worst version of this job is a truck that arrives and then leaves half the pile behind.
- Paint, solvents, motor oil, pesticide. The transfer station will not take them off us. The county holds household hazardous waste days, and that is the right route.
- Tyres, more than four. Four ride along at $6 each. Past that it is a separate disposal stream and a separate price.
- Anything with a working compressor still gassed. Fridges, freezers and window units need the refrigerant recovered first. We can arrange it, it adds $45 and a day.
- Asbestos, of any age or condition. Old floor tile, pipe wrap, some textured ceilings. That is a licensed abatement job and not one we are licensed for.
- Demolition attached to the house. Interior walls, roofs, anything structural. Free-standing sheds, decks and fences, yes.

Anywhere else in Clay or Clinton County, ask. Past forty minutes from the yard we add $40, said on the phone and not on the invoice.
Roughly two thirds of what comes off the trailer never reaches the landfill. Metal goes to scrap, working furniture and appliances go to a resale charity in town, cardboard and clean wood are separated at the yard. We will tell you where your things went if you ask.

Four steps, one of them yours

Send a photograph
Text a picture of the pile to the number at the top. Nine times out of ten that is enough to name a rung off the ladder without anyone driving out.

We give the number first
Price agreed on the phone before a wheel turns. If the pile on the day is bigger than the picture, we say so before loading, not after.

You point, we carry
Nothing needs moving to the kerb. Basements, attics and back yards are the same price as the driveway.

Broom, then pay
The floor gets swept before we leave. Card, cash or check when the trailer is loaded, never a deposit up front.
